Managing Stress with Sound Therapy

Just when you thought it was safe to go to work,  Recent studies are saying that an unbelievable 80% of Americans have results from stress at work. Lets see, one carry the two divided by…. 2 out of 10 people employed in America are not stressed, from their job anyway. Considering how our lives are on a day to day basis, wondering why you didn't get a text back or thinking about the amount of emails you still have to go through, Stress is here to stay.  Or  Is It?

Cymatics is science vs. music. Or making sound visible. Cymatics is derived from the Greek ‘Kuma’ which translates into ‘Billow’ or ‘Wave’ to describe the effects of sound on matter.

So having a  Sound Mind  is defined “Legally, having the capacity to think, reason and understand for oneself” or not all stressed out.

One way to combat stress is to be mindful. Mindfulness  is simply the process of noticing new things. In our day to day activities, there are countless things competing for our attention but paying attention to the present moment is one remedy to manage the stress by pushing aside the multitude of things bombaring our minds. Awareness or Mindfulness leads to better decision making which in turn lead to a more mindful and healthy way of living. It is said that 65% of what we encounter on a daily basis is either negative or redundant. Being mindful of your present situation instead of letting the past or future, something we have no control over, leave us mindless or “not there” will help us notice when we get to that “not there” point.

Sound has always been used to increase our awareness which then we will take notice of negative things around you so you can turn it around with a positive attitude. So now you can mentally step back and Recognize before reacting. Now you will be on the road to recovery.

By including a Sound Therapy regiment, leads to becoming more mindful of your circumstances and able to live your life with less stress and enjoy it more.

I would like to know your thoughts and if you have already started a Sound Therapy plan.
